why not put 2 fans in series? twice the airflow, and the same power usage as 1 fan and an equal resistance resistor in series.... just a thought for you!

I think I saw a prototype version of these a while ago. The quality of machining looks pretty good for the price, but unless they're teflon coated I doubt they'll last too long against steel idler...
