i got a gorilla maxx with g3 arms i have hi tec aggress0r crx . ihave a hitec hs-645mg servo . the problem is it turn right ok but left not so good. now i have made sure that every thing from the servo to the steering blocks is not to tight or rubbing. steering seems to be a bit slow. i am thinking of changing servos what would you recomend. or what do you think the problem is
If there is no binding or rubbing - then check to make sure that your servo horn is centered so that it goes left and right equally. If its slow - are you running a ubec or a battery. If you are looking to replace the servo - JR Hitec - either one you cant go wrong - you want some torque and speed - go for around 180oz tq and .15 or better transit time at 6.0v. Hope this helps...
i will try a new servo saver . do you think it would be the servo it seems ok with out the servo saver off it but then its not pushing the steering though
If the servo saver in on the steering bellcrank (like ue/proline) then you might need to tighten it. If its one thats mounted to the servo (like the stock one), then I would suggest upgrading to ue/proline.
I like the ue or proline setup much better than a stock type. I think it does better if you have a londer link that runs across the truck to other side for steering.
Peace!

starting to think it could be the servo saver . does not want to turn right but when i touch the wheels it turns more its like its binding up. but no were after the servo saver
Yeah, any Hitec or JR servo will be good. If your on a budget the BMS servo's can also be quite nice. Still, the 645MG should be able to move your tires with relative ease.
