In the past Traxxas would sell kits months before they had parts. I had a TRX1 that I has to wait 2 months before I could fix over a steering part. I would not hold my breath for the 5626.

I would do away with the punch control and replace it with a current limiter. That would allow you to handle the initial power like a current limiter and not interfere with the rest of the throttle...
