LBA 10 balancer question

This is directed to anyone who uses a pair of lba 10 balancers, networked together, to charge a pack 7s or more...

I have an emoli lipo pack for my milwauke drill, 7s 3000mah. The little internal lvc or whatever has crapped out, so I want to just set the pack up to charge off my 1210i. I would also like to add a balancer harness.

I have a pair of lba 10 balancers, and the correct network cable for them. The hyperion diagram shows them setup in master/slave mode, but does not show them hooked to a single battery pack, just 2 packs. So I am wondering if I can use a serial harness on the outputs of the balancers to allow me to hook up the 7s pack? I had planned to put a 3s and 4s hyperion balancer taps on the pack, and just use the main pack outputs to hook the serial-wired charge cable to. I could wire the packs as a 3s and a 4s for charge purposes, but still use the main output to power the drill. I would prefer not to have to do any more wiring than necessary.
