Monster Xray XT8 Conversion Questions

I may be purchasing a 2008 XT8 from a friend of mine. I would like to convert it to electric using the parts available here at RC-Monster. The two parts I need to know about are:

Now, the battery tray is not that big of a deal. If this one fits, fine, if not, I have plenty of easy modding opportunities. My main concern is the motor mount. From what I have read, the XT8 changed from 2008 to 2009 and I want to make sure that this mount will work. Thanks!!
