help wiring the 9920 controller

help wiring the 9920 controller - 08.31.2005, 08:37 AM

ok i have just recived this controlloer and it looks nothing like the picture (dunno if i have been sent wrong one) it has 2 red and 2 black wires for batterys (i assume) the reciver conector and then SIX black wired obvisly 3 of these are for the motor but which 3 and what are the other 3 for

some one please help and basicly tell me how to wire this thing up.

I am assuming the 6 wires are in pairs? Treat each pair as a single wire and you should be fine.

Yeah, they made all the wires double.. Don't mix the wires, use them in pairs, like they come from the esc.

ok i made a start but ran out of solder ill get some tommorow and finish it off cheers fr the info

ON the controller does it deliver more power. less heat. Just helps out over all and all. If you know what I mean.

a few other questions concerning the BEC and jumpers i have found the red jumper (it was shrink wraped i had to cut some away) but cant find the black jumper to turn of the BEC should it be inthe same place ive had a good look and cant see it

It is under the shrink to. Back a little farther than the other jumper(red one). Look for the lump that looks like a jumper. Hope this helps.

What is that around your controller Serum? Some sort of hand-made case? Looks cool...

found it thanks got it running slightly twisted one half shaft and snapped the other due to something catching in the diffs :S but ill sort all that tommorow now tbh i think its abit silly of BK to shrink wrap over the jumpers and not tell u about them but i found em now

thanks for your help all and serum where u get the metal guard from or is it home made?

finished it and just took it out yes i now its not tommorow the half shaft wasnt snapped just came appart got a proper go this time and im well impressed was only in my back yar in the dark on 12 3300 cells tommorow ill take it to either the local track or a field and try it with my 7 cell 3700 packs

again cheers for the help guys both the centre drive shafts are pritty twisted but ill use em till they have had it because im cheap like that
