My Wreckluse !!! - 01.13.2009, 03:47 PM

This is a little project I have been working on for about 3 months. When I first saw the RCP Wreckluse I knew I had to pick one up. I haven't had a 2.2 scaler in about 2 years, I have been running the 1.9 stuff. My plans are for a full interior, Scaleoffroad working Warn winch, and alot of other scale goodies. O yea I frickin HATE styrene.

Chassis mounted Jr 8711 steering servo.

Scaleoffroad working Warn winch in place and mounted.

I just need to sandblast the chassis and get it powder coated silver.

So this is what you're doing with your time while the SC8e collects dust awaiting completion?

No waiting on the guy to finish the parts up and I am working on a RC8e as well. It will be powered by a MMM / 2650 KV Castle combo on 4s. I am going to use Mike's RC8 conversion, JR 8711 steering servo, and a Spektrum SR3500 rx.

awesome build. If my hands worked better I would for sure build a scaler. I looked into those winches, wow! Spendy! But soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freakin' cool!

Thanks, the winch is kinda spendy but it's the cool factor. There is a cheaper version out now but you get what you pay for.

Looking good Chip! Look like your styrene skills are getting pretty good... I am too lazy for that, I just buy a toy body with full interior!
