2200 bearing

I really tried to do my best, cleaned it after every run and adjust the mash to be at optimum.
But it happened... I blow the front bearing of my motor on the track while in the air.
I hope the Rotor is still OK, going to test it with new bearing.

The answer is in your post... You must not lubricate or try to clean this bearing, by doing this you risk to damage the shieling of the bearing and to put the dirt inside, which result in a balls damage and death of the bearing...
The bearing is dualshielded so it don't need lubrication or maintenance.
My CC 2200kV has already seen 213 batteries of 3000mAh, and the front bearing is still in perfect health, although I never try to dirt it off.
You will know it for the future.

I replaced the bearing with new one but the same failure happened again, I didn’t perform any kind of maintenance this time.

I suspect that the front cover of the motor might have something to do with it.
After the 1st bearing failures I replaced the front cover with new a cover from Castle (got it with Rotor under warranty). I compared the cover I got from Castle to my old cover and found out that there is a different with the bearing housing. The bearing housing on the new cover is thinner and has more room for bearing play.
Look at the picture below, the cover on the left is the one I got from Castle.

The second bearing fail after how many batteries ? They suppose to hold a lot of time... Did you use the new rotor ? Maybe your first rotor is unbalanced, and do a lot of vibrations, resulting in the bearing failure.
Moreover, the bearing is suppose to be glued in the end bell to avoid the play you mentioned...
Anyway the 2 accidents are maybe linked, maybe steel of the pinion get in the bearing, is your pinion prematurely used or ?? You are doomed ...
Contact Castle support, their are very reactive and will take car of you. Good luck.

The bearings are not glued in, they are slip fit. I just replaced mine in my 2200 after 1 year of service... might have just been the wrong bearing at the wrong time...

There are glued stock. After ~100 batteries the glue does'nt hold anymore. You have to reglue it ^^

The day I got my 2200 It was not glued :)

as long as the rotor is shimmed correctly, you dont need to glue the bearings.

I think you are wrong. When my bearing unglued itself alone, I noticed some play in my front bearing and a strange noise of vibration, like the bearing moving in the housing.
Then I opened my motor and glued again the bearing in the endbell ==> no more play of the bearing in the housing, and no more strange noise, the motor just rotated quiet.
==> I think that if the bearing is not glued, it use prematuraly the housing, no matter the rotor shimming.

Bearing failures are extremely rare on the 2200 -- we use a high quality NMB bearing on the 2200 motors.

If a bearing failed after just one run -- immediately after another bearing failed in the same setup, I'd be a little suspicious of the setup, and I'd be concerned about the original rotor. If the rotor is bent (even a small bend) the bearing will fail.

Did the rotor get replaced as well?

The new front end cap doesn't change the bearing housing dimensions or tolerances.

Yes, they are glued at the factory.

It appears that the glue don't hold more than 100 batteries, but it's easy to reglue it.

Yes, I replaced the Rotor with another one I got from Castle, I dont think it was a new one. (see the thread about it).

The bearing failed again after ~1 month.
I have so many issues with this motor: Rotor failure and Bearing failure X2.
I don't think its an issue with the setup, I'm running 4S geared to ~35mph.
only running at my local track 2 hours a week.
