This is a video of what I hope to get http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGm-tL2xGvs

The motor will be a 2800kv 36mm74mm http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/s...hless_Inrunner

The esc is a hobbyking 150A http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=10370

Two 3s 5000 turnigy

If he runs it on 3s... Yeh, needs to go to a 1600kv motor for 6s.

If you can afford it, you should get this or lower kv: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/s...hless_Inrunner

Will the HK 150A ESC handle 6s fine? It says it's rated for 2-4s... ?

That motor has a 6mm shaft. Pinions for it are more difficult to find. Since he is running a revo tranny he will use plastic spurs and can use non-hardened pinions. So he could drill out a 5mm pinion, but almost all of the 5mm pinions are hardened.

I like the kb motors, plenty of power. Ran a few of the L cans in on road cars, geared for 55mph and they did just fine, 4s setups too. On 6s with the right gearing and good lipos I see no reason he could not do 62mph (100kpm). I would use a MMM, we know they work.

Yep I will use 3 s lipo....the two packs will be connected in parallel.
And I want to stik with the KD motor because I saw a savage converted to brushless with that motor and it just fly!!enought speed for me... and this revo will be more lighter than that savage so it will accelerate and go faster...

I found a nice m3 boddy on ebay and if i don`t find something else I will buy it.

The project will be done in december because of lack of funds.

That 2800kv motor will not push a 1/5 scale car to 62+mph successfully....

The video you linked was using a CC/Neu 2200kv motor. The motor is a man compared to the child of a motor you want to use.

Indeed, the setup here seems a little 'confused' for what the OP wants to acheive. A 1/5 scale onroad, on 6s lipo, that would be a great candidate for the MMM & 2200v motor- a 2800kv motor on 3s is barely suitable for a 1/10-1/8 onroad.

I would suggest a hobbywing 150amp esc, ~1600-1900kv XL motor and 6s for a fast setup, bit cheaper than the MMM and should hold up alright.

Cool!

Poke around here, there are I think at least two threads about other 5th scale off-road Revo conversions. And I believe on on-road, although he created a complete flat chassis for it (lower center of gravity).
