need some help with esc.. - 05.06.2006, 11:06 AM

I am running a set-up with a BK 12020 Esc I have followed the instructions in how to set-up esc. I understand the set-up...
1. turning on esc first beep 5 seconds
2. Move full throttle then after 5 seconds another beep then
3. move to full brake then
4. 5seconds double beep set-up is done.
So what do I do if I am still at the full throttle after 5 seconds and don't here a beep..
Some help!!:002:

It would be a good idea to have them at 100% EPA and 0 your trim out. Strange though, mine works fine as you described.

I got it set-up.
I checked my transmitter Throttle and it was in Reverse mode and I programed it back to Normal throttle. An I got all the beeps. So I put back the red jumpier.
So when I turn on the Esc and press throttle the Esc makes these weired sounds and the motor is not turning.
what should I do..

Try and reprogram it again. Also, check all your connections on the motor, ect. I found mine was a loose solder joint on the motor and it wasnt really appearent. I had to check them with pliers and finally found it. And yes, it does work now.

This is Soooo weird.
When Lehner motor is connected to Esc it does not spin freely.
When Lehner motor is disconnected from Esc is spins freely.
So I tried another motor.. A feiago same thing So I know it's not the motor.
I played with the connection configuration two connections it would spin freely and then 3rd connection it would just slightly tighten up. So weird..........
What should I do??

Mine did that - the programming was intermittent to say the least...

Try fiddling with channel reverses - that worked on mine sometimes
