Umm...it's not really a new section, I just think the threads disappeared because they hadn't been used for so long. Go back to the main page and look at the number of threads and posts in the UE forum, a good detective will notice a clue . When you click on the UE forum again go to Display Options near the bottom of the page. Where it says "From The" change it from "Last Month" to "Beginning", slap yourself in the forehead, then get some sleep Neil, the human brain doesn't function as well without sleep

Hmmm, those are some pretty hefty center-shaft angles.

I was always a big fan of the Predator chassis, although I think that was actually a Dace product. I had one I got in trade 4 years ago and let it go cuz I didn't feel like funding the rest of the build. Wish I still had that sucker..!

Nay. Who would want to get the Razor and just keep it up in the shelf? Not to mention that there are a few things missing and the chassis is full of scratches from downunder.

I want to get rid of my SuperMaxx and get a Brushless MBX-5T ProSpec instead, but who would get my truck for two grands?

I only got into this hobby a few years ago, and when I got a good look at what UE had to offer I jumpped on the fist chance I had to get my hands on one. I picked up a brand new (never used) complete lightning SuperMaxx kit in pieces that some poor guy spent two years getting together for a build that he dreamed of for years. He ran into personal problems and had to part with his dream. His loss, my gain. I got lucky and I am not sad about my purchase by any means. Now that I have it in my posession I do not plan on parting with it any time soon. I have a few versions of the same truck, but this thing is the lamborgini of EMaxx's. It is strong, lite, and very pretty from an engineering standpoint. I have a Plettenburg "Big Maximum" and a Schulze controller on their way for this truck.

It really is too bad that UE is no longer interested in providing the R/C community with this kind of product, because it is just not a big money maker for them. It is how ever a work of art that will most likely stand as the best after market E-Maxx vehicle ever made. I am very happy to have one, and plan on having fun playing with it from time to time. Yes spares are getting hard to find, and when I no longer have the parts to repair it I will probably part it out. That will be a shame, but death is a part of life.

I hear ya and have a similar opinion. I’m not one to worship UE or anything; only reason I use their products is due to the extremely durable materials and design. When other inferior products have failed, the UE gear holds up solid. Frankly I don’t see the point (other then the joy of building) to spend all that money on a rig only to file it away on a shelf. I beat the snot out of my UE rig and wouldn’t have it any other way. But yes, one of these days it too will die and need to be parted out as no spares will be available…

Yea, it never really ran that well either. I passed 3 on the track with my Emaxx(including driving over Robin's personal truck in a whoop section) Yea, the predator was made by dace, after the razorback..his machine shop went out of business since he didnt pay em for the work. I also watched as a stock savage owned two razorbacks on the track...made it look like a stock t-maxx
