thicker motor shaft = more torque? -

Hey everybody, got a question for ya that I havn't seen brought up before.
I'm getting a medusa 50mm 4800kv motor for my rusty, and I was wondering if I got the 5mm shaft over the 3.7mm one would it have more torque? (acting the way a fatter screwdriver does) Thanks!
