1/8 Onroad? - 08.08.2008, 11:54 PM

Hey, I've got a few spares I'd like to put to good use. I was thinking about using them in a 1/8 onroad like a GTP or similar. I've only owned 1 or 2 onroads, and would like to get more into them. Power system would be a Hacker C50-Maxx, MM, and 5s. (I decided to use an outrunner in the buggy, because I can't gear it low enough, and now I don't have to buy a 4s pack. I know next to nothing about onroads, so if you could provide some suggestions, all help is appreciated.

Hey,I have an Ultra GTP with a Neu 1512 2.5d on 5s and it is a blast. It's a pretty tough car, only had to replace rear axles so far. I upgraded to cvds seems like a stronger/smoother setup.
Also you might want to consider foam tires as the rubber ones don't hold up to brushless if you stay on it alot.

Q: Where can I get a front brace like that kit has? (from the center bulk to the front diff brace).
