My Brushless Jato! - 12.17.2008, 05:18 PM

I haven't driven mine in ages but this is my brushless jato. I bought the roller off a coworker who already did all the work of removing radio tray, and all the other crap and making the L bracket motor mount. I Used a MM 5700 and a 3c setup when I used to run it. I stopped running because I would glitch no matter where i positioned my electronics and it was just possesed. I will get it up and going again one of these days with my new 4 cell lipo and airtronics 2.4 and I'll have to snag a Mod 1 pinion,(this was before mod 1 electric pinions were being made)I was using a 32pitch emaxx pinion with it, the mesh wasn't perfect but it worked. Here are some old pics. Sorry for bad picture angles lol this was like 2 years ago and i found a HPI body and mounted it for the jato lol

It's got pretty clean wiring, and the body appears to fit good.

thanks BL-rvo, also as a side note, It has the single speed conversion as well. If I wanted to change anything I think I would try to re-incorporate the mechanical brakes.

That looks good. 2 years ago wasn't a whole lot of them was there? The HPI body looks good on it. Which body is it? I'm still surfing for one.

Im sorry, I exaggerate too much, This was more like almost a year ago lol. That's the HPI Firestorm body, I found it, and though this would look great on my e-jato, and sure enough I just re did body holes and taadaaa nice fresh body.

-I took all the Firestorm stickers off, I should have taken all the stickers off and leave everyone guessing Lol.

From the looks of that, All I need is the L bracket for the motor... Not too shabby at all!

A Y-harness for the brakes and throttle to be in sync, and the problem of mechanical brakes is solved!

Though, I think the brushless motor will have much better braking...
