A sad day to be an MMM

Well today is a sad day . I put my batteries into the MMM and flipped the switched on. I heard the start up tone, then it just stopped. I opened the case to find a microchip had partially melted and a pin wasn't on it. I believe it was the BEC circut chip. I circled it in red. I have never seen this happen to an MMM, any thoughts? BTW I was running 6s in my revo and its a V3.1.
