My MMv3 is back, thank you Castle. - 05.31.2010, 11:51 AM

Hello, here it is, back from warranty repair, with the refurbish mention :

As you can see, the support team soldered bullet connector on the plate for the battery and added new wires, there is a reason for it ?
Anyway the Castle support team make this hobby very enjoyable, continue your good work and thank you.

Castle opted to hardware the battery connectors - I believe this was to eliminate any risk of batteries being shorted if someone pulled out the leads.

My guess this was a "fix" for your model which has the sockets on the battery side.

You mean Castle solder it to my plate or simply replace by an ESC with this connector ?

Depends on what your issue was - repairs/warranty ESCs can come back as a remanufactured unit - I've have this in the past.

I have only had one MMM failure and my replacement was labled new stock on the negative "black" battery wire.By the way, CASTLE CREATIONS has awsome customer service and support.
