hello

here is my bl-savage , i made a motor mount for 540CXL , is lowdown motor.
i got 540C8XL to try and with a machine brake use 2-speed.

here is some picture.

47T/15T gears.



I have get some video is here.
ESC : Quark 125
Ext TVP
540CXL motor
14s GP4300 battery

Did you made a support underneath the motor on the rear?

That looks like a good motor mount. LIke the idea of adjusting it without hard time. NICE!!!

Hello serum,

sorry i don't understand, what is "support underneath" mean?
mayby i think ,you mean the feigao motor can't hold to jump or bashing right?

i think he means to support the back of the motor so the motor mount does not flex and change the gear mesh

Nice, I love your motor mount, must be really easy to change the gear mesh. If you fancy selling one of those, let me know.. :)

oh i understand.
this mount is pretty tight, i try to push motor back down, it seem like unflex i am use 7075alu bottom 8mm L.
but i worry is motor, if i use 540L not "C" i think motor front can't hold, if motor get very hot that glue will loose, this is my worried.

yes, this mount easy to adj mesh like engine, just only one sorry.

Don't worry about your english!

you need or a bit of flex, or put it down tight on the back side, for the reason you are mentioning.

Supporting it is the best way, i think.

by the way ,.
maybe this week me and my friend gonna try challenge faster Savage ... we plan use Castle Creations Phoenix 110HV controller with 29.6V or 44.4V Lipo on 1600kv motor,
we hope can get on top speed to 100KM or more......i am crazy..

that makes quite a difference with 12 cells nimh's. Savages are not built for speed. 44.4V will ruin that 1600kv motor.

You are not living in the Netherlands for sure! hottest September since 100 years.. We had allmost no rain during the past month. (which is rather uncommon for us dutchies..)
