The 8T really doesn't need anything for strength. We bash ours hard, and the only thing that I've seen so far is the front tie rods popping off the ball joint at the front carrier. My Muggy has suffered continual breakage of the front carriers, so I haven't tried to fix the rod popping off - its probably keeping us from breaking them.

There are some nicer aftermarket chassis braces available (kings head, etc). Not sure if they are required - I had to get one to accomodate the electric conversion - but that may have been due to Tekno's layout (it has the Tekno chassis).

The diffs and cases are fine from the factory. I've run a 1520 on 6S in mine, and no issues.

Buggy body will not fit "right" - but if you like how it fits, then use it....

There are some carbon fiber items to lighten them up - I have a set, but have never installed them yet. Just haven't seen the need so far.

My highly upgraded Revo (even with RCm AL cases) has sat on the shelf since I bought my first truggy. My kids will likely have to put it in my Estate Sale someday.....

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES
