The same thing happened to me with the FLM cups in my e-maxx.
I felt stupid when I pulled it apart and found that the screws holding the crown gear on had come loose and one of them had dug into the outer case and got jammed.:007:
Obviously, because it's now screwed into aluminium instead of plastic, loctite becomes more important.
