Muggy or Revo - 04.30.2008, 04:28 PM

I have it down to two trucks. I finally got to put my hands on a muggy yesterday and am very impressed. I also like the fact it is a true crossover between a monster and truggy. I also know there is a significant size difference between the two. I already converted one revo using the 3906 maxx tranny but sold it. If I do another I will use the nitro tranny.

That all being said, how is the conversion process for the muggy? Is there any major issues I should know about? I would assume this thing would stomp a revo in handling, am I correct? Assuming 6s on the Mamba Monster, what motor would be optimum to push this beast around 40-45? I am thinking either a neu 1515 2.5d or 1.5y.

I know some others have done this, I just want to get a rough figure of what the final cost will be. What I want to do is buy a used roller from ebay or whatever.
