thanks. i will run 6S on smaller pinions than on 4S and watch the temps. worst case we get the 2200 that I didnt have the option to get when i got the 8XL. People have told me motor temps go down on higher voltage as long as you gear down.

Off topic, but, the 8XL might be toast if you run it on 6s. Especially if you go racing with it. It sounds like you know what your doing. I just thought I'd give you a heads-up.
