Sick of going through diff's on my ERBE !!! - 03.29.2011, 02:07 PM

Hi All,

I'm going through diff's on my erbe like tic tac's and I'm sick of it! My slipper is very loose, i've upgraded to avid bearings, aluminum diff case and cup...still, they're toast after the 3'rd or 4'th run. I think what's causing the strain is me using the throttle to control the nose while in the air. i'm not landing it throttle on etc...honestly, i think i'm rather easy on it, too easy. Which is why i'm giving up on this rig. I've spend a ton of time and a ton of money on upgrades and i'm not happy with the results. yes i am running 6s and do not want to go back to 4s...that's not why i bought it.

I have two questions.

1) Aside from ls lst diff's (heard mixed results) is there anything i can try as a last resort to beef up the diff's on my erbe.
2) What's a alternative Truggy (not interested in savage sorry) which will be much more durrable and allow me to use the MMM and motor combo along with 6s that I can bash around with.

I realize parts will break given the power and abuse we throw at them. but honestly, the erbe on 6s is a joke. i have been warned by others and now i'm swallowing that pill. I would just like to take it out once in a while and play around with it, rather than driving to a pit and have something break in 3-5 minutes or mild bashing.

Suggestions or advice on the most durable Truggy are greatly appreciated
