Brian thank you very much for the help. Yes I'm going through the setup process per the manual. I can see now what needs to be done. I talked to Mike for a little while and he was helping me out on the phone. The problem is that when it tries to program the neutral setting it keeps rejecting it. I'm going to play with it a little more then try my receiver and transmitter from my stock e-maxx.
I also had my esc wiring plugged in backwards. Brown wire should of been out not in. I learn as I go, I'm sure these are newbie mistakes.

The truck finally lives. I got the stock traxxas receiver to work. The truck is pretty faster, wheelies on comand. The first time I went anywhere near full throttle it flipped on its lid and slid down the street about 100 feet, I was chasing after it in my slippers.
Thanks for the help getting it running, I appreciate it.
