The fastest growing market right now seems to be 1/8th, so if they are market driven then thats what its going to be. If they are customer driven, it'll be an electric/brushless version of one of their existing trucks or cars (possibly even the 4-tec).

And now that I've thought more about it, I think it would really be a benefit to have Traxxas enter the 1/8th market. After researching which 1/8th truggy I wanted, there is really a lack of differentiating engineering technology in the 1/8th field. All of the current buggys/truggys share the same basic systems/layout, most of them resembling the mariage of a 4wd pan car with an RC10. Nothing near as advanced as the Revo, possibly even a Savage.
