I took some new pictures to better illustrate the size and form etc. This is far from finished, but I slapped some parts together just to give everyone an idea of the final product. Also added the frame spacers and put the brake servo in the correct spot, sorry!
Pictures part 1
Looks real nice. I can't wait tof find some time to start putting mine together. That looks like its going to be a seriousy bad a$$ savage when its done.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
All the screws were there, Serum. I just hate flat head screws. I always manage to strip them out no matter what I do. So I replace them with standard socket heads. Doesn't look pretty, but works better for me.
I'm still debating what shocks to use. I've got a drawing for a buggy shocktower,
but the innovative RC LST shocks look like business too. On the other hand, too heavy perhaps.. the new ofna 16mm bigbores.. or the good old ofna/UE shocks.. Proline powerstrokes perhaps.. but they are impossible to get replacement parts for.. even proline stopped carrying them..
What vehicle are the ofna/ue shocks from? I always wondered, cause they must be similar length to a stock maxx shock. Are they a front shock from an 1/8 ofna buggy?

The Ofna LX buggy shocks are the same ones that UE uses on their setup if I'm not mistaken.
