with the motor facing to the rear you dont have to flip the diffs, which you really dont have to do , you can change motor direction by switching two wires

the novak systems require the truck to either have the motor in the rear or flip the diffs

I actually did not like the older gmaxx reversed motor mount. It made changing the spur gear a nightmare. I personally would recomend jut jeaving it in the stock position or use the new gmax motor plate.


I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...

atm I do have the new Gmaxx plate, but I was afraid that the motor/ESC wires would be a little long because i'd have to run the wires from the front half of the chassis to the back top plate where i'm going to mount the esc.

Would this extra length cause any excess heating due to resistance?
