ive actually heard not to get this as an ultimate basher (i asked the same question a week or so ago.

i was told one of the toughest MTs is the associated MGT.

theres a roller on ebay that is being sold by cart right now. (ends pretty soon!)

Excuse me, but the MGT is, for me, the badest MTs in the world. I've had an MGT and the plastic (arms) and drive shaft is ALWAYS broke, tranny is very weak (that was with the poor .21). Not stearing at all..... And sliper is a dump.

I'll never return on an MGT.

I have heard similar issues with mgt arms and driveshafts. Supposedly the shocks on savages are the waek link, the shafts like to bend?!

My buddy at the lhs told me this, and he does have to fix them. I have an aftershock that I am converting. The shocks on it look really solid, the arms look pretty good, and I have seen quite a few really beatup 1st gen lsts (basically the samr thing) that took the beating well.
