Well to be honest I havent really read much about people testing the limits of the sidewinder. First experiment would be to see if it arms on 5s a123. It might not due to overvoltage. Then 4s a123 would be your only option.

If that works then I would start with some very conservative settings on the gearing, punch control and timing. You could slowly work them up untill you start to see the temps rise in the sidewinder.

I would think that you should be able to make this work. The ls10 isnt that heavy of a truck and mine always ran stone cold on the MM.
