MGM 16024 old style, Is it worth sending for repairs?

Considering that it is a nice ESC and they are worth a few bucks, I would definitely send it in. In fact you might write up something asking if you could trade up and get a reduced price on a newer model? Like the saying goes, you won't know if you don't ask. Even if you do get the old one repaired it is a good ESC as long as the repair is not too expensive. If not Then you have the optiion of just buying a new one. I have seen two of them sell on here for under $200 in the last month. I picked up one of them and I am looking forward to setting it up in one of my Maxx's down the road. Too many toys and not enough free time to work on them.
