the us sports is a decent handling rig, motor isn't bad power at all. the odd 19mm hex hubs means you need to buy kyosho rims or do a 17mm hub swap. the chassis is a little shorter as well but there is a conversion kit to change the chassis, driveshaft and braces for about $100

Hi, my brother has a Kyosho Sport. The engine was pretty good, ran strong, easy to tune and he put many gallons thru it without issue. Then one day .. boom .. main bearing blows. Kyosho uses some weird non-standard sized bearing, we couldn't find one anywhere (even contacted Kyosho USA). Also, the pull start is also very unusual, most have a one way bearing that grabs when you pull, and freewheels when the engine starts. The Kyosho Sport has a system that disconnects from the engine when it starts, no one-way bearing. So now it just sits, and he now has a Jammin CRT. Feel free to ask questions.
