The first place I would start is to decide what this truck is going to be used for primarily. That will help as a basis for what you want to do. Nothing like spending a ton of money then realizing you went the wrong direction compared to your needs/desires.

But money is nothing to this guy!

Gotta agree with truck basher, if you bought a revo to upgrade, you kinda screwed up already. I think the only thing left stock on my emaxx is the tranny case and a few gears. Oh, and the steering knuckles. But yeah, I made the same mistake...bought a emaxx instead of building one up.
