not to get to into the different versions of each but real quick here you go,

1/10 scale so they say
E savage is the smallest and not the same as a nitro savage

old emaxx, tmaxx, 2.5 revo are the same size

new emaxx, 3.3 tmaxx, and 3.3 revo and e-revo are the same size and alittle longer than the early ones

1/8 scale
the savage, mgt and lst are about the same and a little bigger than the maxx trucks

As the owner of several emaxxes, tmaxxes, lst's, ek4-s2, 1/8 buggies, etc. Early emaxxes are cheep right now but you'll spend allot in upgrades to handle the extra power. Personally I would go for a new e revo. Its all done for you and parts are as easy as the local hobby shop.

here's is an emaxx next to an lst
