I have just finshed my latest conversion. HB Lightning 2 Pro Evo, MMM, 6S1P A123, 14/46 and Medusa 36-60-1600.

That motor is absolutely amazing! I have recorded 1807W peak

Ambient temp around 65F, motor after 10 min run 115F

Now I need 36-70 for my truggy and 36-50-3300 for B44 :)

> AE J82 + SW 5700 @ 2S LiPo
> AE TC5R + MM 6900 @ 2S LiPo

Nice!!!

I've been wondering about these motors for awhile.

If you wanna see even more bump, you should try it on 6S Lipo. Something in the 20C-30C. Fit in as many mah as your battery tray can hold.

This is the setup I wanna try in an E Revo or an E maxx.

Same motor as yours
Mamba Monster V3
6S 20C 5000mah Lipo (Should be good for 100amps continous)

What Mod 1 Gearing would be best to run in a heavier truck like this?

What top speed should we gear for? I've seen anything much over 50mph in a Monster Truck is just asking for huge tumbles. LOL

Nice Watts you're putting out there. Thanks for the Graph. Nice Info!

I will probably try 6S 5000mAh Zippy. I think power peaks will be above 2kW :D

That will be perfect combination for Revo or Maxx.

Try to calculate optimal gearing with Parameter Solver:

This is very useful tool.
