In a 5lb touring car built mainly for oval racing and big bashing speed runs, would a 1509 be enough to run cool despite being geared for the 50's.

Over the past year I've seen a bunch of threads about using a 1509 in a buggy and I think it's a little much. Rated at 750 watts in a 7+lb buggy I think it's bound to have heat issues for most.

I have a 1509 that I would think would rock in a smaller on-road or a 1/10 buggy.

For a 1/8 buggy i think a 1512 is a better choice for most.
