I have a 50mm 3300kv that was in my FLM build. I'm thinking that it probably weighed as much as your D8 when fully laden, and drag wasn't really an issue. If you push the car by hand, you'll notice the drag disappears once you get it rolling. I had the same notion with both the Medusa, and more recently my Mega 22/45 which is a 6 pole and notches worse than a medusa. But its negligible when the vehicle is actually moving.

E-Maxx - Feigao 7XL MM 4S
AX10 RTR - Stock :D
Micro-T - Losi LiPo upgrade
Mini LST2 - Discarded. Useless POS.

What about in the air though? Guess I'll go get it dirty if the track dries out today and report back.

Ok, went to the track. No nose diving, absolutley awesome motor. Perfect speed on 4s 6000mah geared 15/48, 20-21 minutes. Highest temp was 160 deg at the 20 minute mark.

Was thinking this would be awesome on 5s with a 13 tooth pinion, now to find a 5s that will fit under the body and yield a 20 minute run time.
