novak HV on 4s

Why use an external Ubec on the HV? I have 2 of these 6.5 systems, one in an Erevo, the other in a Kyosho GT conversion, both running on 4s. I havent had one problem so far with the internal BEC, and my Erevo is using 2 steering servo's. I was too lazy to resolder for the single wire conversion, so just made a jumper incase I want to run 2-2s packs.
The Novak HV's are actually pretty good, I know PPL knock them, but when I can grab a hand full of throttle on the Erevo it will flip on its lid...I dont need any more power.
