Check your esc to motor connectors. If you can direct solder them. I have had issues with bullet connectors arcing and causing what you describe.

High start power ususally helps with slow speed cogging. More info on your setup would be helpful, gearing, battery etc. And a picture may help too..

its just a stock losi 8ight E

running a 13 tooth -pinion stock spur

battery is 5s 3700 enerland

the track is really a small 1/10 scale indoor track. on a 180 turn sometimes if i slide the car and it stops at the apex it will cog trying to start out.

my 808 with mmm and 1512/1.5y is smooth as silk in the same turn
