Yea I thought that I had remembered him stating that this was going to be a universal unit that could be installed in just about any R/C vehicle within reason in order to make it user friendly for everyone.

It's not that easy Jerry. The way the driveline is positioned at the center of the diff, you really have to lower the center diff a lot in a vehicle that was originally designed for a tranny. In most vehicles, this is no trivial task. It would take an awful lot of work on Mike's part to make it an easy fit all of the various vehicles. I imagine his primary goal is to make it an easy drop-in for buggies and truggies first, then migrate to other vehicles.

You also have to consider that most folks running an E-Revo or E-Maxx with the stock plastic chassis are not going to be willing to buy a $130 slipperential and a mount that may run in the $75-100 range. Guys that do will certainly be in the minority, but with that in mind, I've got to think that providing mounts for the plastic chassis of those vehicles isn't high on Mike's priority list.

I think most memebers of this forum meet the requirements for that "minority"! I would shell out the money if a mount can be made to work on my E-revo! My "brushless ready" transmission is on it's way out!
