I really can't see a .50 round bouncing off of anything...too much energy. Either it disintegrates, or goes straight through!
 Shooting one that close would be exciting though!

Yeah, 50 BMG can shoot thru 2-3 feet of dirt... I like something full auto myself, like an ak74.
