Hmm, long day I guess, I do not follow you with that joke?

Anyways, I had a look at the 1/6 scale chassis you linked to. WB is only 18" and I need to go to about 22-23" to fit the body correctly. Design is basically the same, although I plan to use thinner al for the tvps and brace it so that it is lighter and stronger than a thick tvp chassis would be.

I doubt it's any use to you, but kershaw makes a 4" stretch chassis over the stock savage x tvps. It's also 130 bucks.

HPI quotes 22.5". Edit: The stock 5b-5t a-arms have some caster built into the a-arm mount so wheelbase will vary depending on ride height. I built my revo with 22.25" and it looks fine. Definitely keep it light and with as much weight as low as possible. My revo ended up with more weight up top than anticipated and likes to get up on 2 wheels, on the street and grass anyway. BTW I'm at 12.5lbs without the body or mounts.

Can't wait to see how yours turns out. I put my MMM combo back into the buggy until I can at least lower the battery and maybe add the kershaw extension kit to it. And maybe that 10s ESC!

That sounds about right for the WB. I should have the xl rear driveshaft in this week, and plan to get the 15" wb savage done by then... Need to spend some time at work after hours to get the tvps finished!

You do have alot on your plate. Sounds like you and me both need a shop at home. The less time we have to spend at work the better, even if it isn't "real" work.

Very true. If I go home I just play on the pc and watch tv... Sometimes I play golf or bolwing on the wii... Or some Matt Hoffman on Dreamcast.

I will try to get alot done this week. At least with rc! I have a feeling that I will be drunk this weekend, only turn 29 once!
