I finally got to run my CRT.5 and all i can say is WOW!!!!! I just blipped the throttle and flipped it onto its back. seeing that, I decide to give it more juice. STANDING BACKFLIPS!!! This is with stock tires on wet pavement(it had just stopped raining about 30 seconds before). My setup was MMM, medusa 36-50-3300v1, 3s 20c 4000mAh zippy flightmax, geared 14/46. with 120,000 wt oil in the center diff. its amazing! oh and here is a video! tell me what you think

I think I need to tape my tires...

Also, metallover, when you calculated your speed, did you put in ballooning? that would account for the speed difference

i was trying to decide between getting a hyper ste or getting a 1/8 buggy and converting it. after seeing that video, i've decided to get the ste. i'll most likely end up running my dented vxl motor until it burns up. i'll probably throw a KD 36-60 3000kv or 3000kv motor in it afterwards.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
