Yeah, I hate VXL ESCs. the startup on them is horrid. I think there was a thread about the new waterproof VXL ESC, stating that it has the same internals as the original VXL, but with a waterproof case.

My biggest wish for the VXL is that they would eliminate some of the resistance. And perhaps add some programability.

One of the most eye-opening things was when I soldered the motor wires direct to the PCB. Wow...that really woke it up!
