I would assume that is for the upper arm. I would think you would need the HPI Adj Arm kit for the Savage. As far as tie rods, you will need longer. Too bad they are not included in the kit, or at least some directions on what to use. I wonder if Revo buckles would be long enough.

Personally I use HPI hellfire 5mm turnbuckles and HPI ends (same ends that go on the adj arm kit, also used in the hellfire as rod ends.)

I don't like the stock 4mm rods and ends. I found them to be weak and stretch out easily and make sloppy steering. Its a bit of overkill, but it works really well. In the pic I have them as the str rods, while the rear rods are still stock.

If I bought the ext arms, I would use the 75mm M5 hellfire turnbuckles and rod ends. 70mm may work, but its easier to buy long and trim the ends as needed. There are M4 80mm buckles if you prefer those. They may work, depending on the length of the rod end.
