If all you have are hot pink spur gears I'll take one, my Ten is ready to roll.

I believe he does have some hot pink spurs ready, but they also have small butterfly and flower designs on them. I think he anticipated on the Ten being popular with the female crowd...

Brian, what do you estimate the top speed is on your truck with your setup? I have decided to base my conversion on yours. I am new to this and I want to get it right the first time around. The only thing I may change is the Tekin RX8 combo due to cost (any suggestions for a cheaper alternative?) or is it basically you get what you pay for. I hope you don't mind.

I tried your Top Speed Calculator but there was too many values that I did not know the answers to.

Hmm - my stock tires are 4.5" tall and I figure they are good for at least .1" ballooning. I suspect the actual speed with your setup(BrianG) - which happens to be the same as mine - will be around 40mph.

Spurs(white - sorry I couldn't find pink with flowers) won't be ready until Saturday, so Good Friday can be reinstated.

I'm using whatever it came with, but I plan to use 100k in the center with 5k rear and 7k front. BTW: 100k is not a typo.

A 2650kv motor on 4s would be ballistic unless you gear down a lot. 3s would be more driveable. I ran for 30 minutes straight on a 5Ah 4s pack with my Tekin 1900kv (buggy) system (geared 52/20) at the track tonight.

Lol, not looking for backflips, I just don't like the front tires to unload and look like pizza cutters on hard acceleration. I might go down to 50k.

I just remeasured the tires and they are 4.25". Maybe the foam compressed a little?

Anyway, on 4s, that 2650 motor geared 52/16 will get you 41mph. On 3s, you'll need to adjust gearing to 52/21 to get the same speed. It's a bit steep on the rollout, but should still be ok.

found these 17mm adapters in my random parts box that fit the ten-t's axles perfectly....just needed some washers to keep the wheels from backing out.....and..these adapters should fit as well

the ID is 6mm but the pin that comes with it is 3mm...you can either drill out the ten-t's axle or use the ten-t's axle pin (its 2.5mm)
