It would depend mainly on the RPM limit of the MMP, which I can't seem to find...

For example-

If the limit is 210,000 rpm with a 2-pole motor, then a 4-pole motor can be operated up to 105,000 rpm, and a 6-pole can be operated up to 70,000 rpm. Each motor has a mechanical limit, so make sure you don't exceed that. Yes, current draw plays a role as well, but a higher pole motor doesn't draw "more" current per say, just closer to DC current.
