my brother use to use komodo tires on his emaxx. i might get the maxx size adapters and try those, but i think it makes more sense to just get smaller tires on 2.2 inch wheels.

i will post pics of my setup soon. i have the stampede-to-maxx wheel adapters, proline maxx offset dish wheels, panther komodos and s-maxx tires.

the maxx panther komodos are actually almost the same diameter as the 2.2 m2k's.

i know their about the same diameter. all im wondering is if theres any reason other than ground clearance, why the heavier maxx wheels would be better than 2.2 stadium truck tires.

not sure how much heavier they really are.

i think it would equal out in the end because the 2.2 m2k's are heavier than the maxx size komodos.

my # 1 factor in going to maxx wheels tires is that the 2.2 pin tires are tiny - i would rather gear down than gear up.
