Hmm, will it be fiberglass?

I have a supervee. Out of the box with the stock prop and lipo we got 35+ out of it. With an octura prop that I sharpened and balanced I got 44 mph out of it. This was with some 12c 3600mah lipos, 4s total. I can imagine I had a few mph tucked away with some better lipos. So 100 bucks for the lipo, paid 300 for the boat and 15 bucks for the prop.

Traxxas boat looks cool. Would be nice to see the setup, off to the OSE forums...

There's a reason people mostly run 2p lipo setups. Boat draw far more amps and far higher bursts than a normal land vehicle. There is the added runtime as well, but mainly for safety in the setup and having the available amperage to run some of these setups. 1 change in the prop could drastically spike the amp draw.

Much of the boat community have come to the consensus that this boat will be constructed in ABS for cost reasoning. In the video, you can clearly see the lip of an ABS mono hull.

I love the graphics and layout on that hull.
