Opening a Neu 1509 1.5D 4500kv

I can see some broken or loose strands or wire for sure ( assuming its not just dirt or bits of loose hair stuck to the stator ) at the rear end of the 1509, just under your finger @ 0.30-35 seconds. That may be the cause of your temp issues if theres a damaged winding or minor short.

The 1515 looks fine.
