6s is always fun to watch. I only did it once on my E-Revo, simply a one word expression...

Wow!

WOW, the amount of power this thing is putting out is flat out insane! Despite my gorilla taped tires, they still balloon like crazy with 6s! I nearly smoked the slipper clutch pad right off the bat as I didn't have it cranked down all the way and it was making a gawd awful noise and it smelt bad.

Luckily, I caught and fixed it before I think I ruined the pad as now it wheelies with just a slight flick of the throttle now. This damn thing will now do backflips no questions asked, even with the XL conversion. I noticed checking the temps that the motor is running pretty cool but the ESC fan is kicking on pretty early though it might have something to do with 0% punch control and full throttle starts on the concrete.

I'll need to do some more testing in actual dirt and grass later today after I top off the Lipos and see how the temps are under an actual load.

Taped wheels. - 10.10.2010, 06:34 AM

Yea I would say that how ever you taped your wheels that it did not take. Your wheels are balooning alomost like regular wheels do. Did you clean the inside of the tires with Alcohol before you appied the tape, and of course let them dry? Also next time try using re-enforced packing tape. Anyway nice video and its good to see you playing with your newest creation on 6S. Imagine 12S?

SUPERMAXX YOUR LIFE.
