Once its filled with oils, you run the piston up and down slowly to get out all the air bubbles. I have supershocks (ofna) on my mbx pro, they are pretty easy to rebuild. Just clean the out with wd 40 or something and clean the seals and such, if they look bad, may need new ones. Otherwise just build it up again, no need to fix what isn't broken there.
